Book of the Week: Digital Photographers Handbook by Tom Ang

This was one of my first books I bought when I really started getting serious about digital photography. I love this book because it not only covers the basics of photography, but does so through an updated lens of the new digital age of photography. It’s so great it’s in its 6th edition!

If you are just starting out, or looking for a great “grab off the shelf” reference this is a great book to have in your library.

I love the “Quick Fix” sections of each chapter. Having problems with exposure, lighting, scanning, editing, no problem, Tom has a “Quick Fix” for it all.

Tom does a great job showing how the digital age has helped improve photography, rather than take away from it. It provides a balance of technical information as well as inspiration for shooting projects.

I’ve included my amazon affiliate link below for his 6th edition below. Add this book to your library, you won’t regret it! You can find my Amazon Affiliate Shop here where you can find camera equipment, book recommendations, and much more!

A fool with a tool

Wow! I’ve been offline for a bit. This week my blog contribution is late and I’d like to share the reason why. Late one night, working on photos, I spilled wine all over my laptop. Ugh, what a night.
